Once again, it's been a couple of days.
I have to say, making a point of not including the usual drivel that fills most blogs leaves me with more work than I necessarily want to do.
Okay, to summarize--
Still reading Discover and Scientific American daily, as well as the science-oriented stuff from other zines.
Read three stories from the April Analog. Two were trash, while one was what I'd call soft SF--good stuff. I was stunned that the two poor stories got published. I understand wanting hard SF, but these weren't. One was a string of SF-related jokes and science-related puns, and the other was...weak. Poorly thought out sociological SF, poorly written.

Becoming a Hard Science Fiction Writer
I'm going to make myself into a writer of hard science fiction. This blog is a record of my transformation.
